Multi-Skilled Operative (Responsive Repairs)40 Hours Per WeekCirca £35,000 per annumIncluding £1,000 Vehicle Responsibility AllowanceAre you passionate about delivering high-quality repairs and making a real difference in people's homes? We're looking for a dedicated Multi Skilled Operative to join our Internal Repairs Team, part of our wider Homefix department. As a Multi Skilled Operative, you'll be at the heart of our responsive repairs service carrying out a wide range of repairs inside our customers homes, with a focus on achieving a first-time fix. In addition to carrying out day to day repairs you may also occasionally be involved in ongoing planned works as required. This is your opportunity to be part of a customer-focused service that plays a vital role in maintaining safe, secure, and well-kept homes across our communities.To be successful in this role you should have experience in:
  • Plastering both patch and large areas
  • Carpentry/UPVC repairs
  • Laying vinyl flooring
  • Tiling small areas
  • Basic plumbing (preferred, but not essential)
You will need:
  • To have excellent customer service skills
  • Be confident in using IT systems and a tablet, able to consistently follow department processes.
  • A willingness to learn and be keen to make the most of training opportunities to support and build on your skillset
  • To demonstrate behaviours that align with Saxon Weald's values
  • Ideally, to have experience in social housing sector (preferred, but not essential)
  • A full UK Driving License
