- Assist in triage and reduce duplication between health and social care, ultimately reducing OT waiting lists.
- Support external care providers to carry out correct and safe moving and handling tasks.
- Conduct reviews of care packages to ensure the best value of services for Adult Social Care and optimal use of available equipment.
- Evaluate double-handed care packages and provide mutual aid to other OT areas as required.
- Deliver safe and timely OT assessments and reviews across the directorate to maintain high-quality services.
