A well-established and forward-thinking manufacturer based in Coventry is currently seeking a skilled Press Setter to join their production team. Operating in a dynamic and evolving sector, the business is in a strong position despite fluctuations in the building industry.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate press machinery to required specifications
- Read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
- Perform quality checks to ensure components meet required standards
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and report faults
- Support the team in meeting production targets and deadlines
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures at all times
- Proven experience as a press setter in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of press machines and tooling
- Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
- Commitment to quality and attention to detail
- Flexible, reliable, and able to work effectively in a team
