We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join our supportive team in Shrewsbury. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.Responsibilities include:Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored learning activities.Promoting inclusion and supporting pupils' social and emotional development.Helping to create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.Supporting with personal care needs, where required.Liaising with teachers, SENCO, parents, and external professionals to support pupil progress.About You:Experience working with children with special educational needs (desirable but not essential).Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with a genuine passion for helping children succeed.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to adapt to the individual needs of pupils.Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) are an advantage, but training can be provided for the right candidate.What We Offer:A warm and welcoming school environment.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.Supportive colleagues and leadership team.The chance to positively impact the lives of young people every day.
