Your responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting groups of children under the supervision of the teacher.
  • Providing regular feedback to the class teacher and maintaining records.
  • Assisting with children's personal needs, including minor first aid, and promoting health, hygiene, and well-being.
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and caregivers to monitor progress.
  • Working with children 1:1 or in small groups to enhance their learning experience.
  • Acting as a positive role model for students and colleagues.
What you'll need:
  • Experience working with children.
  • SEN experience
  • A passion for supporting children's development.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade C or above) or equivalent.
  • An enhanced child DBS (we can assist if you don't have one).
  • Skills in behaviour and classroom management.
  • Patience and adaptability to engage children in planned activities.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
