Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?We have an exciting opportunity to join the ERM Europe team in London.The successful candidate will support the day to day operations of the GRM Function, ensuring the smooth running of key Business Management activities.This role offers the opportunity to gain broad exposure to risk management while developing core Business Management and organisational skills in a dynamic environment.You will report to the Director – Enterprise Risk and Business Management, and will work closely in conjunction with the ERM Europe team members.What will you do?Support GRM Business Management activities including:Supporting headcount, resource and budget tracking processesSupporting process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and consistencyLiaising with internal support functions (Finance, HR, CRE, Technology, Compliance) on business management mattersManaging ad-hoc requests and providing general operational support to the GRM leadership teamEngagement with ERM Europe activities across the team including Projects, Regulatory Compliance Management, ESG Risks, Model Risk and AI Risk OversightDevelop strong working relationships with internal partners and stakeholders, including the functional teams, and RBC business segments.What do you need to succeed?Must-haveHighly adaptable to take on varied challenges covering a wide range of Business Management activitiesUnderstanding of financial analysisHigh quality of work and strong attention to detail with excellent communication (both written and oral) and interpersonal skillsAbility to produce clear, concise and well-written documentsAbility to manage well under pressure and tight deadlines; works well with changing priorities in a dynamic team environment.Nice-to-haveExperience creating reports and presentations for senior management usageUnderstanding of people-related activities (recruitment, training, etc.)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.What is in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best - progressive thinking to keep growing and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
