Our client are looking for a qualified gambling regulatory and compliance lawyer with speciality advising on the full range of gambling regulations in the EMEA Region to support their management team.This role will be primarily be based in the UK but may include travelling and offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions.Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise senior management / executives on the gambling laws, rules and regulations, together with current best practices, of one or more ER jurisdiction, anticipate regulatory risk, advise on compliance with such gambling laws, rules and regulations and responsible gaming practices from time to time.
  • Draft and implement required compliance measures to mitigate risks, prevent penalties or shutdowns, or potential legal issues whilst keeping abreast of the developing landscapes in the relevant ER jurisdictions.
  • Advise, draft and deal with submissions to gambling regulatory authorities, including making applications to obtain new licences and/or to vary existing licenses to operate legally in the relevant ER jurisdictions.
