We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our client, a leading Civil Engineering contractor and deliver civil engineering water projects. This role is based in the Bexley area.The company are a well established specialist contractor and market leaders in delivery of water and civils sector projects, and your role as Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for looking after the commercial aspects of the work on these projects.Key responsibilities for this Quantity Surveyor role:- Maintain cost control procedures
- Budgets and Cash flow forecasts
- Effectively implement NEC contract
- Sub contractor management and payments
- Applications for payment
- CVR's
- Month end reportingExperience required for this Quantity Surveyor role:- Ideally worked in Civil Engineering / Water sectors
- NEC3 form of contract
- Experience working for a main contractor or specialist contractor
- Relevant qualifications e.g. DegreePackage & Information offered for this Quantity Surveyor role:
- £50 - £60k depending on experience
