- Provide professional and technical leadership in developing and implementing efficient management functions for major road bridges and transportation structures in Fife.
- Oversee the development of forward design and construction programmes, ensuring budget adherence and effective control
- Serve as the Technical Approval Authority for Highway Structures in accordance with the DMRB,
- Lead the programme of structural inspections, including the integration of digital improvements.
- Stay ahead of new legislation, best practices, and technical standards, leading the development of innovative responses and strategies.
- Honours Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (SCQF level 10) or equivalent.
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body (MICE / MCHIT / MI StructE / MCIWEM).
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, promoting a positive culture in the workplace.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage conflicting demands effectively.
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering specifications, contract management, and health and safety legislation.
- Experience in preparing and managing project plans and programmes, with a focus on digital integration.
