Trafford Park Hybrid WorkingAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant to join a large, well-established international business as a Financial Reporting Manager. This is a high-impact Group-level role offering technical depth and strong exposure to strategic projects across finance, treasury, and compliance.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on Group statutory and financial reporting, including consolidated accounts
- Own the external audit process, acting as main liaison with auditors
- Monitor technical accounting developments and implement best practice
- Oversee key compliance submissions (e.g. Payment Practices, ONS, covenants)
- Manage cash reporting and forecasting, supporting treasury operations
- Deliver accurate and timely management reporting to senior stakeholders
- Act as super-user for consolidation/reporting system (Tagetik or similar)
- Support and develop team members, driving continuous process improvement
- ACA qualified (or equivalent) with strong technical accounting knowledge
- Proven experience in statutory reporting, ideally in a Group environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good understanding of internal controls and compliance requirements
- Experience with reporting/consolidation tools (Tagetik or similar desirable)
