Duration: Contract (initially 12 months)
Our client, a Global Chemicals Organisation, is looking to add a Controls & Instrumentation Project Engineer to support the site instrument and electrical team with new projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instrumentation and electrical project design
- Contribute to or author Basis of Design documents for scouting and project planning.
- Coordinate with OEMs for equipment selection and technical specifications.
- Develop cost estimates and compile cost books
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on project timelines, support needs, and commissioning strategies.
- Possess hands-on experience in chemical or petrochemical plant environments.
- Knowledgeable in Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) design and testing in accordance with IEC 61508/61511 standards.
- Prepare and manage commissioning documentation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred
Minimum HNC & NVQ Level 3 is required
Experience of Electrical Control & Instrumentation within a top tier COMAH environment.
TUV certification is preferred; however, relevant work experience will be considered as an acceptable alternative.
