Artworker - Retail POS / POP IndustryGlencourt Associates are pleased to present an exciting opportunity with our client, a reputable company specialising in POS and POP within the temporary and permanent display industry. Based in the East Midlands, this role offers a chance for an experienced Artworker to join a dynamic Artwork Department and contribute to high-quality visual solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Utilise the latest Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat, to produce accurate artwork files.
Collaborate closely with the Head of Artwork to ensure all projects are completed on time and to specification.
Prepare print-ready PDFs suitable for digital flat-bed and roll-fed printers, ensuring adherence to print prepress standards.
Manage direct briefs and amendments from Account Managers, adding artwork to technical drawings and creating bespoke prototypes.
Prioritise tasks effectively, balancing prototype development and production workflows.
Gather material specifications and printing process information to inform production.
Assist colleagues by reviewing artwork prior to printing, supporting the overall team efficiency.
Support the Head of Artwork during busy periods or downtime, ensuring smooth workflow management.
Handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.
Candidate Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience within a Creative or Artwork Studio environment.
Hands-on experience within signage, retail graphics, POS, and display sectors is essential.
Proficient in creating cutter guides, adding artwork to development drawings, and laying up panels for production.
Proactive, self-motivated, with strong organisational and communication skills.
Meticulous with a keen eye for detail and capable of working to multiple deadlines.
Additional Details:The role offers a salary up to £28,000, dependent on experience.
