The school boasts a thriving Design and Technology department with a strong track record of success at both GCSE and A-Level. The department is housed in its own dedicated block and is committed to fostering creativity, problem-solving, and making strong connections with other subject areas including mathematics, science, and engineering.The Role:This is a full-time, one-term contract position commencing in September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Design and Technology or Art to students across different key stages, fostering a love of the subject and helping students to achieve their full potential.The successful candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have a proven track record of teaching Design and Technology or Art at the secondary school level.
  • Be a creative and passionate educator with the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • Possess strong subject knowledge and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.
  • Be a collaborative team player, keen to contribute to the wider life of the school.
