
IT Project Manager - Office Buildout

- Create scope of works for new projects, drive the incorporation of technical requirements into space planning and initial test-fits. Ensure internal standards and user requirements are met and understood.
- Plan full life cycle project schedules, measure and mitigate risks and issues, set expectations with stakeholders.
- Develop and present accurate project budgets, track financial performance, and manage spend against approved forecasts.
- Provide regular, high-quality reporting on project status, risks, and milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead the procurement process for IT services and equipment, including vendor selection and performance tracking.
- Oversee the technical design phase, ensuring key design milestones are met and subject matter experts are engaged as needed.
- Coordinate and oversee the testing, commissioning, and go-live readiness of all systems, ensuring full operability and stakeholder sign-off and handover.
- Lead post-project reviews, document lessons learnt and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain best practice project management disciplines at all times
- Act as an EMEA IT ambassador at all times
- Undertake any other activities as reasonably requiredQualifications:Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience managing complex, multi-country workplace technology or construction projects.
- Proven track record of delivering business-critical IT projects, especially office build-outs, using methodologies like Prince2, Waterfall, or Agile.
- Strong vendor management skills, including vendor selection, negotiation, and performance tracking.
- Advanced proficiency with project management tools such as Asana, JIRA, or MS Project.
- Excellent risk, change, and financial management capabilities, with experience managing budgets exceeding £1M.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in designing and implementing project structures and governance, including custom processes, reporting tools, and stakeholder management routines.
- Deep understanding of workplace technology, including AV, IT infrastructure, networking and security systems
- Excellent experience of project managing large business-critical IT projects for organisations of at least 1,000 employees
- Preferable to have experience of working within technology and/or media environments.
