- Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
- Supporting pupils in developing their literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Encouraging independent learning while providing targeted support where needed.
- Assessing, tracking, and reporting on pupil progress and attainment.
- Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and resilience.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and inclusive learning space.
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support pupil development.
- Taking part in school events, extracurricular activities, and CPD opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, particularly Year 3 or 4 (desirable but not essential for ECTs).
- A passion for engaging and inspiring young learners.
- Strong classroom management skills and high expectations for behaviour.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a Year 3/4 Teacher.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
