If so, we’d love to hear from you!We’re seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Tutor to join our Young People’s Learning team, where you’ll play a key role in shaping and expanding our successful programmes—including Supported Internships. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.What you’ll do:
  • Deliver engaging and accessible English teaching, including Functional Skills and accredited qualifications, tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners.
  • Empower young people aged 16–25 with SEND, using a strength-based approach to help them build confidence and achieve their learning goals.
  • Create and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) that identify gaps in literacy, numeracy, and digital skills, providing personalised support to close those gaps.
  • Foster strong, supportive relationships with learners, offering guidance, coping strategies, and encouragement throughout their learning journey.
  • Travel across the county to deliver high-quality English education and training in a variety of settings.
What we’re looking for:
  • Experience working with vulnerable/SEND learners in an educational or training setting.
  • English expertise.
  • Strong teaching and digital learning skills.
  • A commitment to high expectations and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Excellent problem-solving and negotiation abilities.
  • Motivation to support learners in a meaningful and impactful way.
