Your primary responsibility will be to champion product quality, lead quality initiatives, and provide essential support to our teams across the organisation. By managing quality panels, conducting rigorous testing, and offering valuable insights, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to excellence.Key Accountabilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality testing program across our product ranges, ensuring a continual focus on product quality improvement.
  • Conduct thorough product sampling across all ranges, analysing market benchmarks, and providing detailed reports and feedback to the relevant teams.
  • Perform routine specifications checks across all product ranges, providing valuable feedback to site teams to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Facilitate sensory panels for new products and product development/improvement initiatives, offering valuable input to enhance product quality.
  • Deliver quality reporting information to the teams, providing actionable insights to drive continuous improvement.
QualificationsQualifications and Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or a related field (ideally to degree level).
  • Previous experience in quality-associated roles within the FMCG or similar environments.
Qualities and Experience:
  • A genuine passion for product quality and a commitment to upholding the highest standards.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally, fostering collaboration and driving results.
  • Experience in coaching and developing individuals, with a focus on helping them reach their full potential.
  • Diligent and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for identifying areas for improvement.
  • A self-starter with a drive to succeed and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
