Job Title: Refrigeration EngineerSalary: £42,789 per annum (inclusive of call out) plus Company Vehicle with Fuel Card, Pension, Health plan, 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Location: NewcastleHours: Monday to Friday / 45 hours per week (OT available at £30.38 per hour)On Call: 1 week in 4We are advertising this Refrigeration Engineer role on behalf of our client 'City Facilities Management'. City FM was established in 1985 and the company has grown to become one of the world's largest privately held, integrated FM companies.Job Purpose:The purpose of the role is to effectively maintain service and repair refrigeration equipment in customer locations & provide assistance to HVAC equipment containing refrigeration circuits as well as ensuring that health and safety is at the forefront of all actions.Skills / Background / Qualifications:
  • Flexibility in working hours is essential for this role as well as the ability to be on call on a 1 in every 4 weeks basis.
  • You must be a fully qualified Refrigeration Engineer with Refrigeration Handling C&G 2079 qualification (FGas Qualification)
  • You must hold a NVQ / C&G Level 2 in Refrigeration or equivalent.
  • Co2 experience required/desirable.
  • Supermarket experience advantageous.
  • You must have a full, valid UK driving Licence and personal vehicle for transportation.
  • High degree of flexibility in working hours.
  • Personal fitness-the nature of the job requires the jobholder to climb ladders, work in confined spaces etc.
