Are you an experienced CNC Turner ready to step up into a supervisory role? This is an exciting opportunity to lead a skilled team within a precision engineering environment, while remaining hands-on in the manufacture of high-quality components. You’ll be responsible for overseeing work allocation, supporting your team, and ensuring production deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.Based in St Neots, this permanent role offers the chance to join a company with an excellent reputation for precision engineering and innovation.   • Supervise and support a small team within the turning department
  • Delegate tasks and ensure deadlines and quality standards are achieved
  • Set and operate a range of CNC lathes (Haas / Fanuc and DMG MORI CELOS systems)
  • Machine precision components from raw materials to engineering specifications
  • Operate chucking and barfed machines with live tooling and Y-axis capability
  • Use appropriate measuring equipment in line with inspection schedules
  • Adhere to company Quality Management and Health & Safety procedures
Skills & Experience:
  • Completed Mechanical Engineering qualification
  • Skilled CNC Turner with experience in a precision engineering environment
  • Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Confident in the use of measurement equipment
  • Experience with live tooling (advantageous)
  • Programming ability (advantageous)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Working Hours:
  • 8.00am to 5.00pm – Monday to Thursday
  • 8.00am to 2.00pm – Friday’s
