Rate: £19.62 - £21.99 per hour (PAYE)Venn Group is currently working with a leading housing association covering Durham and Teesside / Tyne & Wear are looking for a Gas Service and Breakdown Engineer to join their team on an ongoing basis.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Diagnosing and repairing faults on domestic gas appliances and heating systemsCarrying out annual gas servicing in line with industry standardsResponding to emergency callouts and breakdowns in a timely mannerWorking within occupied and void domestic properties across social housing stock * Occasionally complete installation / swapsEnsuring all work is completed in accordance with Gas Safe regulations and internal proceduresProviding excellent customer service and liaising with tenants where necessaryCompleting digital or paper-based certification and job reportsEssential Skills/Qualifications:Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and HeatingValid ACS Gas Safe qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CPA1)Proven experience in servicing and breakdowns within domestic settingsFull UK Driving LicenceExperience in social housing or local authority contracts is highly desirableTo apply for this role or to find out about other roles we have available, please contact Sam Hall on 0161 830 1830 or send your CVVenn Group is an equal opportunities employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates.
