- Lead and manage a team of community podiatry staff, ensuring an outstanding level of podiatry service.
- Provide specialist podiatry treatment to clients in Greenwich, including non-complex nail surgery and wound care in a community setting.
- Assess the suitability of patients for surgical intervention with pre-surgical assessments.
- Utilise local anaesthetic injection therapy and provide post-operative wound care, dressings, and care planning.
- Keep abreast of developments in rheumatology, diabetes, vascular pathology, neurological and post-surgical wounds.
- Collaborate with primary, secondary, and community care teams to deliver a multidisciplinary approach to improving foot health.
- Engage in regular training and competency assessments for junior staff and peers, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Qualified podiatrist with a degree or equivalent in Podiatry.
- Recent experience in podiatry is essential.
- Registration with the HCPC as a podiatrist to work in the UK is required.
- NHS experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
