
Locum Consultant Obstetrician

- £105,504-139,882 per year

- Full-time
- Full GMC registration
- MRCOG Relevant CCT or equivalent ('equivalence' must be confirmed by GMC by date of interview) *
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the interview (Appointments Advisory Committee)
- ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward Practice or equivalent experience
- Clinical training and experience in general obstetrics and Gynaecology equivalent to that required for a UK CCST
- Specific training in communication skills
- Able to demonstrate behaviours consistent with the Trust's
- Good leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, relatives, GPs and other agencies
- Enthusiasm and ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Prepared to live within 10 miles or 30 minutes of the hospital
- Experience of supervising junior staff
- Training in educational supervision or willingness to undertake
- ATSM in Medical education
- Original Research Publications
- Higher teaching degree or qualification or training
- Ability to travel between City Hospital Campus and Queen's Medical Centre campus
- Willingness to work on an on-call rota
