Posted 04 August 2025 by UrsulaHallam Medical has opportunities for dual-skilled Prescribing Emergency Care Practitioners (ECP) to work within Urgent Treatment Centres across Somerset.The sites located across Somerset are: Frome, Shepton Mallet, Burnham-On-Sea, Bridgwater, Chard, and Minehead.We are looking to speak with ACP Prescribers who have previous experience working within a UTC/MIU environment.You must be competent with the initial assessment, examination, investigation, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with acute injury and illness (undiagnosed /undifferentiated presentations) across the entire age spectrum.Qualifications / Experience:

Hold a NMC registration
Minor Injury and Minor Illness qualification
Evidence of continued professional development
Experience of working autonomously diagnosing and treating patients
Non-medical prescribing (NMP)
In possession of up-to-date IRMER certification
Demonstrate evidence of competence in radiographic interpretation (red dot)
Demonstrate evidence of up-to-date PILS/ILS (minimum) ideally but not essential ALS/EPLS
