Your role will involve screening safeguarding referrals around two days a week and carrying out your own Section 42 enquiries as per the Care Act 2014. – Conduct screenings of safeguarding referrals regularly, ensuring timely and appropriate responses are in place.
– Handle Section 42 enquiries, utilizing your social work expertise to ensure thorough investigations and outcomes.
– Follow and implement the safeguarding policies and procedures specified within Bolton’s guidelines.
– Conduct MCA assessments and make Best Interests decisions where applicable.
– Collaborate effectively within the team, contributing to the collective knowledge and resource sharing.Requirements of the Social Worker:
– Degree or equivalent in social work
– Current registration with Social Work England
