- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth objectives
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Negotiate and close deals with new clients, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to drive customer retention and upselling opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery of products/services to new clients
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to represent the company and generate leads
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, leads, and opportunities in the company's CRM system
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline, and market insights to senior management
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities and potential threats
- Contribute to the development and refinement of sales processes, tools, and best practices
- Mentor and support junior sales team members as needed
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and materials that support business development efforts
- Participate in strategic planning sessions to help shape the company's growth strategy
- Proven track record of success in sales and business development roles (minimum 3-5 years of experience)
- Strong proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation and closing deals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the ability to work independently
