- Manage a varied caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney.
- Provide clear, practical legal advice for a diverse range of matters.
- Draft and review legal documents with precision, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practice in private client law.
- Handle sensitive client issues with empathy, discretion, and understanding, delivering excellence in client care at all times.
- Conduct thorough research and keep up-to-date with private client law and regulatory developments.
- Contribute to the ongoing growth of the team by supporting business development initiatives, networking, and community engagement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to ensure joined-up legal solutions and exceptional service delivery.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and manage caseload through the firm’s case management system.
- Qualified Solicitor with minimum 1 years’ PQE within a private client team or relevant legal department.
- Comprehensive experience of wills, probate, trusts, inheritance tax planning, and lasting powers of attorney is strongly preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and simply.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines and priorities.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office and legal case management software.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, resilience, and a proactive, client-first approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, contributing positively to the wider firm culture.
