- Monitor AGV Systems: Oversee the real-time operation of our AGVs, quickly responding to alerts and system messages.
- Keep Things Moving: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve any disruptions, jams, or faults—minimising downtime and keeping workflows running smoothly.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with warehouse staff, engineers, and IT to coordinate repairs, updates, and continuous improvements for the AGV system.
- Optimise Performance: Suggest improvements to routes, scheduling, and efficiency, helping us deliver a first-class service for our customers.
- Safety First: Make sure AGVs and team members operate together safely, upholding all health & safety protocols.
- Training and Reporting: Support your colleagues in learning AGV basics and keep a clear record of incidents and interventions.
- A keen interest in automation, robotics, or warehouse logistics.
- Experience with automated systems, transport control, or warehouse operations a plus—but we’ll happily train dedicated team members!
- Confident using computers and comfortable with control software and data entry.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving.
- Calm under pressure and solutions-focused—especially when things get busy.
