Duration: Long TermAbout the role – Teaching Assistant:
Providing 1:1 and group support and assistance to students with special educational need’s (SEN) aged 7 – 16. Working alongside passionate and talented teachers, therapists and educators, the role is ideal for someone looking to support young people looking to gain confidence and life-skills while at school.The role will consist of:
  • Offering support to the class teacher.
  • Provide support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Building good student – teacher rapport.
The successful applicants will have:
  • Previous experience working with Autism, Speech Language and Communication difficulties.
  • Previous experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.
