Position Title: Solar PV Project Development Manager (Hybrid)Location: London (Hybrid)Salary: €50,000 - €65,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience)An exciting opportunity has emerged within a well-established international Renewable Energy Developer for a Solar Project Development Manager to join their expanding UK team.Responsibilities:As the Solar Project Development Manager, you will oversee all aspects of utility-scale solar project development, with potential involvement in storage and Green Hydrogen projects. Key responsibilities include stakeholder management, site identification, land agreements, site selection, environmental assessments, permitting, and financial closure. Collaboration with colleagues across Europe and globally is integral to project success.Key Duties:
  • Identify and pursue solar project opportunities while managing their development.
  • Coordinate planning applications and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs).
  • Negotiate and secure option and lease agreements, Development Agreements, and Share Purchase Agreements.
  • Lead internal teams in design, technical analysis, financial modeling, legal due diligence, and grid connection.
  • Maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including developers, service operators, local councils, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • 3 to 5+ years of project development management experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated experience in UK renewable energy project development, including land securing, permitting, and connection processes.
  • Proficiency in project management, including program and budget delivery.
  • Previous experience in a multinational company.
  • Degree in a relevant field such as engineering, legal, business, planning, or environmental studies.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent team working and management abilities.
