Our purpose is to drive confidence and trust in legal services. We work to protect members of the public and support the rule of law and the administration of justice. We are focused on the issues that can transform legal services, making sure the profession delivers the high standard of service that the public deserves. The current Chair of the SRA Board, Anna Bradley, will complete her sixth and final year as Chair at the end of 2024. We are therefore seeking to appoint a new lay Chair to take up post from January 2025.The Chair of the SRA Board is responsible for providing strong leadership for the Board, ensuring it works effectively to discharge its functions. The Chair also has an important role in acting as an ambassador for the SRA with a range of external stakeholders, including the Legal Services Board, the Law Society and other regulators, as well as with SRA staff. If you feel you can help shape and lead the Board in its work to maintain and build confidence and public trust in legal services, the SRA would love to hear from you.Full details are provided in the downloadable candidate brief.Closing date is noon on Monday 13th May.
