Primary Details Time Type: Full timeWorker Type: EmployeeActuarial Pricing – Senior ManagerLondon or SydneyWe have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior Manager to join our successful group, global pricing offering. Based in either our London or Syndey office you’ll focus on driving our market-leading pricing operations across long-tail business, with a focus on Casualty business. Collaborating with various functions across the enterprise this role will provide actuarial and pricing support for large and global portfolios. In addition to ensuring the delivery of sustainable and profitable growth across different business lines you’ll also be involved transformative project work, working closely with new technologies as we modernise our excelling global pricing division.Your new role:
  • Leads, manages and undertakes complex and notable initiatives within our group pricing offering.
  • Drive strategic pricing projects to improve price modelling techniques and processes for profitable growth.
  • Build and refine data pipelines to enable downstream benefits, including model development, business insights and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, actuarial and regulatory standards.
  • Establish clear accountabilities for direct reports and shared resources to ensure the delivery of goals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key external and internal stakeholders to improve pricing outcomes.
  • Develop pricing tools and rates to ensure robust methods are adopted by the business.
  • Drive continuous development of pricing standards and best practices.
  • Investigate and understand the range of models and rating tools used in divisions to identify uplift opportunities.
About you:
  • Notable global pricing experience, preferably long-tail business.
  • Demonstrable experience setting and delivering data and pricing strategies.
  • Proven record of working with Underwriters to implement new concepts and drive change.
  • Clear experience handling large volume data sets, with the ability to manipulate and identify trends using SQL and languages such as python.
  • Good understanding of data architecture work and how to navigate this amidst complex data sets.
