- Carry out inspection, testing, repairing and replacement of key systems and equipment
- Use fault finding methods and techniques to locate and diagnose faults
- Interpret information relating to the routine maintenance activities
- carry out repairs and replacement of assets in a safe and effective way which may include the use of plant and machinery and hand tools
- Knowledge and understanding on a range of S&T systems and equipment e.g. Transmission and Telecommunication Systems, Radio systems, CCTV
- Minimum of a level 2 ONC or equivalent Engineering qualification or equivalent experience
- Hold a full driving license
- Previous experience of maintenance and faulting support in a large multi disciplined organisation
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills
- Good knowledge of the essential IT systems including the Microsoft applications
- Comfortable working shifts on a 24/7 six weekly roster – covering including days, nights and weekends
