Applicants will possess:
- A PhD or equivalent in Engineering or a closely related subject and have an independent, internationally-recognised research programme in a relevant active field of research.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of specialism to enable the development of new knowledge, innovation and understanding in one of the following areas:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Robotics and Automation
- Smart Manufacturing and Advanced Materials Technologies
- Water and Environmental Engineering
- A strong record in attracting funding for research or demonstrate potential to attract such funding.
- A strong track record of world-leading academic publications in leading international journals.
- Experience of leading/active involvement in the development and delivery of teaching and educational programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate.
