
Schemes Compliance Manager

- Own and manage relationships with card schemes (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, etc.), acting as the primary point of contact for all scheme-related matters.
- Ensure the business remains compliant with card scheme rules, mandates, and operational requirements.
- Track and communicate scheme updates across the company, supporting impacted teams with interpretation and implementation.
- Lead audits, scheme reviews, and related remediation efforts in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Support new product rollouts and operational changes with scheme compliance considerations from the outset.
- Submit all required scheme documentation, certifications, and ongoing reporting.
- Stay on top of regulatory and scheme changes, advising leadership on any implications or risks.
- Provide training and guidance to teams to foster internal awareness and operational readiness.
- Deep knowledge of card scheme rules
- Proven experience in a card scheme compliance
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Track record of managing audits and scheme reporting
- Understanding of the payments regulatory environment
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Previous involvement in new product launches from a compliance lens
- Experience working with multiple schemes across multiple regions
