JMC Aviation is working with a Maintenance Repair Organisation based in Biggin Hill, looking to recruit a new Ground Support Equipment Supervisor to join their team.This client is an aircraft manufacturer and MRO with a global network of service centres. This vacancy is available due to business turnovers.This is a Permanent Position based in Biggin Hill, UK.Monday to Friday, working 07:00 to 16:00 or 08:00 to 17:00.Salary and Benefits– Competitive salary

– Group income protectionThe RoleThe primary purpose of this role is to determine work procedures and prepare work schedules to ensure scheduled and unscheduled maintenance is performed in a timely manner.Other Duties Involve– Ensure all ground support equipment is maintained in a serviceable condition
– Ensure all tools are maintained in a serviceable condition
– Operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and tooling
– Order parts required for preventive maintenance and major repairs
– Coordinate scheduling of equipment to be repaired
– Coordinate all quality assurance inspections on equipment
– Adjust errors and address complaints
– Ensure ground support equipment repair deadlines are metIn order to be successful in this role the Ground Support Equipment Supervisor will need to demonstrate the following skills and attributes– Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Must possess a valid driver's license
– Must be eligible for airside driving permit
– Ground support equipment experience, avionic or vehicle electrical experience is essential
– Thorough knowledge of all aspects of operation
