Job Description:We are seeking a Team Leader to oversee and support our busy Commercial Underwriting Team. In this role you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department while maintaining our reputation for providing trusted, professional commercial insurance advice to our brokers.What you'll be doing:
Managing and supporting the team, ensuring workload is prioritised and delivered effectively.
Coaching, mentoring and developing team members through training, feedback and 1-2-1s.
Overseeing referrals and providing technical guidance where required.
Contributing to process improvements and initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Monitoring compliance with FCA regulations and Company procedures.
Maintaining high standards of accuracy, documentation, and client confidentiality.
What you need:
5 GCSEs (grade C or above, including Maths & English), or equivalent.
Expert understanding of Motor Trade Insurance and strong knowledge of Commercial products.
Demonstrable experience within the Insurance industry (including Sales and Underwriting).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, manage, and develop people.
