Senior Quantity Surveyor - Major Refurbishment Project | HighlandsA fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor on a £13 million refurbishment project based in the Scottish Highlands.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of the project from pre-construction through to final accounts, working closely with the wider project and client teams to ensure cost control, contract compliance, and successful delivery.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all commercial activities across the project lifecycle
  • Prepare and manage valuations, variations, and final accounts
  • Ensure contract compliance (NEC, JCT, SBCC)
  • Provide cost advice and reporting to senior stakeholders
  • Manage subcontractor procurement and payments
What We're Looking For:
  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Proven track record delivering large-scale refurb projects with a main contractor
  • Strong understanding of NEC, JCT or SBCC contracts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload across a remote site
