
Maintenance Engineer

- Carry out routine maintenance work and planned TPM on all equipment
- Respond promptly to equipment failures, diagnosing and repairing faults
- Conduct breakdown repairs on complex machinery and ancillary systems
- Fit new parts, ensuring equipment is safe, efficient, and compliant
- Maintain accurate engineering records and present them in a timely manner
- Recommend design modifications to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Liaise with suppliers, engineering colleagues, and production teams
- Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment
- Deal with emergencies and unplanned problems as they arise
- Always adhere to Health & Safety policies and promote safe working practices
- Proven experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance within a manufacturing setting
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A proactive and “can-do” attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement
- People management skills are an advantage
