Venatu RecruItment are proud to annouce a leading client of ours with the high-end, steelwork fabrication indstry is now looking for a 2 Steel Erectors to join them at their HQ in Doncaster. The client is a leading provider of high-quality steelwork fabrication solutions, committed to delivering excellence in every project are well known for projects in the Railway, Highways and Construction Industry, working alongside various Tier 1 Contractors. Due to their consistent growth and expansion, they're now looking for 2 Steel Erectors to assist them in which the role involves you working on-site and at their workshop to install structural steelwork for commercial and industrial projects across the UK.This is a full-time role paying circa £43290!Successful applicants MUST have previous steel fabrication experienceJob duties include:
  • Erecting structural steel frameworks and components according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Assembling and bolting together steel structures, girders, and columns
  • Operating cranes, MEWPs, and lifting equipment (as trained)
  • Aligning and securing steel structures using bolts, welding, and other techniques
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
  • Working at heights and using fall protection systems
  • Coordinating with project managers, site supervisors, and fabrication teams
  • Performing basic rigging and lifting tasks
  • Reporting defects or issues in materials and equipment
The type of candidates they're looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Steel Erector in structural steel projects
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Strong understanding of health and safety practices
  • Valid CSCS card (Steel Erector or equivalent)
  • IPAF, CPCS, or NPORS certification (desirable)
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Steel Erecting (preferred)
  • Comfortable working at heights and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred)
