We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Collections Advisor to join a dynamic team in Perth on an initial 3-6 month contract. This role offers the potential for permanency based on performance and company needs.As a Collections Advisor, you will play a key part in managing and resolving overdue accounts while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach. You will engage and negotiate with clients to achieve payment resolutions while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively contact customers regarding overdue accounts via phone, email, and written communication.
- Build effective and respectful customer relationships to understand individual circumstances and agree on suitable repayment plans.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate account information and timely resolution of disputes.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding payments to meet collection targets.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines and company standards during collection activities.
- Prepare reports and maintain detailed and accurate records of calls, agreements, and disputes.
- Previous experience in collections, credit control, or a similar role is essential.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally.
- Proven ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment.

- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- Familiarity with relevant financial regulations and debt collection practices is highly desirable.
