Salary up to £50,000A new and pivotal role has arisen for an Ecommerce Manager which will give them the rare opportunity to shape the digital marketing and ecommerce strategy for multiple brands with full autonomy. The business has a rich history in Scotland and has both a B2C and B2B side, working with some of the biggest names in the UK. There’s lots of growth potential as they’ve barely scratched the surface of the Ecommerce side of the business.This pivotal role oversees the group ecommerce and digital marketing, including website management, paid search, Amazon operations, and social media engagement. Reporting to the Director and leading one other, it operates within a lean team, with a strong emphasis on digital communications and ecommerce strategies.Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute digital marketing & Ecommerce Strategies to drive sales growth and enhance brand visibility.
  • Conduct research and analysis of digital market trends, consumer insights, and competitor strategies to inform data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee the creative development and optimization of digital assets, including website content, advertisements, and social media campaigns.
  • Manage Ecommerce platforms on Shopify and Magento to enhance user experience and drive online sales.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to leverage expertise in digital marketing and ecommerce, ensuring innovative campaigns and measurable ROI.
  • Support Product Development in launching new product lines through digital channels.
  • Analyze digital marketing performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and present actionable recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in digital marketing and ecommerce roles.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing digital marketing & Ecommerce Strategies to drive sales growth and enhance brand visibility.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct research and analysis of digital market trends, consumer insights, and competitor strategies for data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency in managing Ecommerce platforms such as Shopify and Magento to enhance user experience and drive online sales.
  • Proficiency in other channels such as social, email, PPC, SEO, and Amazon.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies to create innovative campaigns and achieve measurable ROI.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing performance metrics and the ability to analyze data to evaluate campaign effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present actionable recommendations to senior management.
