We now have an exciting opportunity to come and join our factory team!The Technical Operator will be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, pieces of equipment and operational decisions at line level to achieve targets and coordinate resources as required.What are we looking for?Minimum 1 Year Manufacturing Experience (Essential):Proven hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is requiredMechanical Training or Background (Essential):Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair complex mechanical systemsMachinery Disassembly & Reassembly:Skilled in dismantling machinery to analyze components and functionality, and reassembling equipment to ensure optimal performance.Microsoft Outlook & Excel Proficiency:Competent in using Microsoft Outlook and Excel for communication, reporting, and data analysis.Team Leadership/Coordination (Desirable):Experience in leading or coordinating small teams of associates is highly valued.What would be your key responsibilities?Lead first-line maintenance for multiple production machines, making operational decisions to meet production targets.Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns using appropriate tools and methods to identify root causes.Take ownership of the performance and reliability of several machines, processes, or equipment.Coordinate, coach and support a small team of operators and temporary associates to ensure line targets are consistently achieved.Assist operators with daily production tasks to maintain smooth and efficient line operations.What can you expect from Mars?Work with over 130,000 diverse and talented Associates, all guided by The Five Principles.Join a purpose driven company, where we're striving to build the world we want tomorrow, todayBest-in-class learning and development support from day one, including access to our in-house Mars University.An industry competitive salary and benefits package, including company bonus.About MarsMars is a family-owned business with more than $35 billion in global sales.
