£30,000 - £40,000A leading Aerospace organisation are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their Production Engineering team and play a pivotal role in strengthening operational discipline, driving process improvements, and ensuring manufacturing consistency across their operations.This position will suit a detail-oriented engineering professional who enjoys collaborating with shop floor teams, enhancing processes, and delivering practical change that improves efficiency, safety, and quality.Key Accountabilities - Manufacturing Process Engineer+ Review and analyse manufacturing processes using PFMEA and other tools to identify and address risks.+ Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce variability and enhance operational reliability.+ Develop and maintain clear work instructions, process documentation, and visual aids.+ Take ownership of the process management system, ensuring accessibility, accuracy, and compliance.+ Support process change management, including the introduction of new equipment and procedures.+ Assist with training development to enhance process understanding and compliance.+ Report on process performance, risks, and improvement progress to senior stakeholders.+ Develop and manage KPIs to drive accountability and monitor performance.Key Skills and qualifications - Manufacturing Process Engineer+ Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical or related), minimum 2.1 Bachelors.+ Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and general machining and assembly processes.
