
Land Surveyor

- Review Scope of Work from the SMT prior to each site mobilisation in order to ensure correct and complete delivery of works.
- Take full responsibility for the collection of survey data on site, the prompt return and download of data to the office for post processing and subsequent delivery of client projects.
- Work within associated industry guidelines and client specifications.
- Communicate and work effectively with other survey operatives both on site and within the office environment.
- Work with the SMT to ensure timely delivery of projects to the required standards, format and client specification.
- Complete and follow Risk Assessment and Method Statements along with all Health and Safety reporting guidelines.
- Adhere to all legislative requirements whilst on site.
- Provide comprehensive feedback to the SMT in respect of progress on site, subsequent delivery of works and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in the development of equipment and procedures or any new software.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles as required to ensure that they are available for safe use.
- At times, the candidate may also be required to undertake duties within other areas of the company as and when required.
- Experienced in the use of surveying equipment (Total Station, GPS and Leveller).
- Excellent IT skills including competency in the Microsoft Office software suite.
- Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise work accordingly.
- Outstanding attention to detail.
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
- Professional telephone manner.
- Good organisational skills.
- Driving Licence.
- Minimum of 2 years of land surveying or relevant experience.
- Experience in using High-definition laser scanners.
- Experience in setting out works.
- Experience using AutoCAD.
- Experience using N4CE.
- Experience using Cyclone.
- A CSCS Card is preferred.
