
Residential Team Leader

- Salary: £28,000-£31,500 per annum.
- Shift Pattern: The shift pattern is 14 shifts a month, from 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with one weekend on and one weekend off. The role requires four sleep-ins and offers the option to be a paid-on-call.
- Annual Leave: Annual leave is 24 days plus bank holidays.
- Overtime: Overtime is paid at time and a third.

- Child-Centred Care: Ensure the physical, emotional, social, cultural, and educational needs of each child are met.
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, motivate, and supervise staff during shifts.
- Safeguarding & Behaviour Support: Safeguard children by identifying, reporting, and responding promptly to risks of harm or abuse.
- Professional Practice & Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant Welsh legislation and procedures.
- Partnership Working: Work closely with local authorities, social workers, and other professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Health, Safety & Well-being: Promote a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children and staff.
- QCF Level 3 in Children and Young People (or a commitment to complete it) is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in residential childcare is necessary.
- The home has received excellent ratings from CIW for Wellbeing, Care and support, Leadership and management, and a good rating for Environment.
