Then we would like to hear from you.We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Emergency Department as a Junior Clinical Fellow.Your role will be to assist in the provision of an effective emergency medicine service for the people of Mid Essex in collaboration with your colleagues, providing emergency treatment to patients attending the Emergency Medicine Department and liaising with specialties and to assist and guide junior doctors in emergency medicine.You will liaise with shop floor/on call consultant for clinical and administrative and the sister/nurse in charge and nursing staff and to organise the smooth running of the department with attention to floor management in line with national targets and take a lead in ensuring the ED 4-hour target is achieved without compromising good quality of patient careMain duties of the jobAs part of the Emergency Medicine service, you will be providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to all patients attending the emergency assessment area comprising of the minor injuries, minor illnesses, ambulatory majors, majors, paediatric and resuscitation areas which are all part of the Emergency Village, comprising of a medical and surgical short stay ward and a medical and surgical Same Day Emergency Care service.Your patients are to be given a graduated model of care and are moved through the assessment areas according to their dependency needs.
