Contract Type: Full-TimeSupply Desk is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Slough to appoint an enthusiastic Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a full-time role starting in September 2025. This long-term position runs through to December 2025, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.You will be joining a supportive and well-established MFL department, delivering engaging lessons in French and/or Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, while fostering students’ language skills, cultural awareness, and confidence in communication.Applications are encouraged from both experienced language teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with a genuine passion for international education.About the Role:
  • Design and deliver engaging, high-quality MFL lessons that motivate and challenge learners
  • Differentiate teaching approaches to support diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Promote a classroom culture that values curiosity, respect, and a love of languages
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance
  • Enrich the wider school community through extracurricular language activities, including clubs and educational visits
The ideal candidate will:
  • Degree in French, Spanish, or a closely related discipline (essential)
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification (desirable)
  • Proven experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages at Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Enthusiasm for language teaching and promoting cultural understanding
  • Excellent classroom management and strong communication skills
