This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed team and be part of a developing pharmacy service.This is a varied role in which you will participate in a rota based service, where you will have opportunity to participate in a variety of pharmacy activities including; medicines procurement, medicines distribution, medicines delivery and medicines module packing.The service operates a shift pattern of working in which the post holder would participate. There is no requirement for weekend working.Main duties of the jobPerform a variety of pharmacy support duties, some of which may be patient facing. These include procurement, stock management, dispensing and/or preparation of medicines, packing and distribution and waste management of medicines within the Trust.The post holder will consistently work in an accurate, effective and efficient manner to support the provision of high-quality service to patients, Trust staff and stations.About usBenefits we offer:

  • Obtained or willingness to work towards NVQ 2 in pharmacy services/pharmacy services assistant or Pharmacy Manufacturing course

Knowledge and ExperienceEssential
  • Familiar with computer systems and basic keyboard skills
  • Experience of working as a pharmacy or medicines support worker in a healthcare setting
