- A Degree or other recognised engineering-based qualification.
- Knowledge of Highway Maintenance, Traffic Regulation Orders (TROs), and Accident Analysis.
- Used GIS systems and experience with the procurement of works.
- Experience of working with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with elected members, members of the public and other stakeholders.
- Prior experience in a highway-related position, ideally with an understanding or willingness to learn about the authority's responsibilities concerning traffic regulation and safety.
