- Delivering first-class clinical care to our patients, with opportunities to work in both Anaesthesia and Intensive Care.
- Leading and teaching - from guiding junior doctors to supporting medical students through Hull York Medical School (HYMS), where you could be appointed as an Honorary Senior Lecturer.

- Qualified & registered - GMC-registered with a licence to practise, trained to consultant level in Anaesthesia.

- All applicants to have demonstrable skills in written and spoken English that are adequate to enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues.
- Entry on the Specialist Register via CCT (proposed CCT date must be within six months of interview), CESR or European Community Rights.
- ALS Provider certificate or equivalent.
- Experience of working independently covering Trauma lists.
- Experience of covering Critical Care.
- 14 years or more experience at SAS level.
- Evidence of participation in Clinical Audit.
- Evidence of involvement in Clinical Research.
- Evidence of a special interest.
- Full GMC Registration, with a Licence to Practice.
- Undertaken programme of training acceptable to the Royal College of Anaesthetics for appointment to Consultant Status.
